About Us

More than a restaurant. A legacy of love.

Manje is a family-owned brand from Nassau, Bahamas, inspired by the life, passion and culinary traditions of our mother, Nadilia Jean, affectionately known as "Mommy Norti."

For years, Mommy Norti's kitchen was the heart of our family. When she passed on her recipes, she passed on the values that still guide us: family, hospitality, hard work and the joy of bringing people together around a great meal.

In May 2016, siblings Myrtha, Lovy and Jeannette Jean opened Manje Da Griyo Shack on Carmichael Road. Today the family also runs Manje Express on Hawkins Hill Road, serving the same recipes from the same kitchen at heart.
